The Lost Diary
Dear Mr Diary, I just feel like writing properly again. Well maybe just for today, at least. Heh. Let's talk about the events that occurred yesterday and today..
So I woke up at around 9am plus. Did my stuff, ate my breakfast and then I realised that I wasn't fasting when I was supposed to. It was supposed to be Nisfu Sya'baan or sumthin. Yeah. Then I watched some cartoons till i got bored (which rarely happens..), when suddenly I got this nudge on my phone. (It was vibrating, so it's a nudge.) It was Johnny. Asked me whether I'd like to lepak. No life, he said. And I didn't have much stuff to do anyways. So I told him to meet me up at about 2pm at McD.
Came 2pm, we had katai and some talk. Heh. Funny things to talk about. The topics just kept changing. From games to girls, to tv shows to Sinister Infants to space stuff. Haha. Don't ask me how that last topic came about. I don't know. Don't care neither. But all that I know is that it's fun. Wahaha..
Hungout till around 4pm. And then I had to go. Back to SP. Had this awesome Star Trek activity around 5pm. On the MRT, heh, I just so happen to be sitting in front of this cute AES girl. Erm.. like.. so? Ahaha.. Nuthin' happened, of course.. And then I reached Dover. Heard someone calling out my name. Couldn't see where it came from. Then on the escalator, there was Eggone waving my way. Then I remembered. There's a MITO chalet that night, and I'm missing it. Damn. Oh well. I'm going to some place better. Haha. Star-gazing at ECP. Can anything be anymore cooler than that? Haha. So I took my chances..
Met with Arvin and his dude friend, Shaun, at SAC foyer. Waiting and waiting for that person in-charge and there came this primary 6 girl holding this file with the words Star Trek on it. She was giving some talk to a group of people. Being a curios jackass, I went up to her and asked if it's the correct place for the Star Trek-ers to report. And she smiled and said yes, claiming that she's the Quartermaster of the Astronomers Club. Damn! Year 3 some more! Never supposed to judge an angel by its wings, I guess.. Heh. And I noticed that I'm the only Malay who's the only jackass to be interested with stars and planets and moons and shooting stars and... Well, you know what I'm talking about..
Reached ECP around 6pm plus. Had our dinner at McD. Then reported back to the jetty. Man, we saw strange stuff. Haha.. Like, we were walking and walking and Arvin suddenly said, "Ey, that joggin' dude has a bra strap." And it was true! Wahahaha.. He's wearing white some more. And it's freakin' obvious! Haha.. Weird. Just plain weird. We also saw quite a number of chio bu's. Really, man.. Like wheeeeeww.. Heh. Ang mo's, chinese, minahs.. Wait, they're not minahs. I know how a minah sound like. And you don't want to know.. Heh.
Returned back to the jetty around 8pm. The sky was already so dark. Well, not that dark. The night was still too young.. Man.. I would say that the moon was beautiful. It was full, and was glowing bright. Seriously, I was amazed at how sumthin that we see every night appears to be so divine, so breathtaking that you'd wish to stare at it endlessly.. And yes, the stars.. They were as stunning as before. Wow.. One of them appeared so bright, much brighter than the others. And it wasn't a star. Okay, dig this.. It was actually Jupiter! Haha. I got shocked at first too.. But it was the fact. We looked at it through the C8 telescope, and it was shockingly not as what I expect the planet to be. It appeared to be white in colour. And I thought Jupiter is orange.. Heh. Maybe it's just the light reflected from the moon. Yeah.
At that point of time, there's only one thing in my mind. Hmm.. I don't know.. I was standing by the metal barrier at the jetty, looking at the stars and the moon and listening to the sounds of the sea, when I suddenly thought of her..
Anyways.. The whole night really went well. I got to learn a lot of stuff. Like the difference between a comet and a meteor, the formation of a black hole, and other out of this world shit facts. Heh. Seriously, it was worth every single penny. Haha.
Till we meet again.
Cheerios.
