Love Is A Mix Tape
Hmmm... Zakaria? Hooked to reading a book? Freaky.. Haha. It's like so too good to be true.. But that's the fact, alrite. Heh. Yeah. I was walking with no sense of direction one day, and then I saw Woodlands Regional Library and I thought to myself, "Hey, what if books aren't so bad afterall..?" Heh.
And so I went in and pretended I was searching for the toilet, even though it's just there beside the cafe. Heh. Well, let's just cut to the chase. I entered the non-fiction section and found a fiction book. Cool huh? I guess Lady Librarian did a little booboo and forgot where the fiction books are supposed to be. Heh.
Okay, this book isn't so bad. Colourful cover. Not so thick. And it's about music; mix tapes to be specific. Just my kinda thing. It's called Love Is A Mix Tape by Rob Sheffield. Heh. Like, who in this world still uses mix tapes and Walkman. Hmm.. I think I'm the only twerp alive who's still using it. (I may be wrong about this, but who cares?) Yes, technology certainly killed tradition. CD's, MP3's, MP4's.. They all just replaced the greatest thing on Earth. There's no fun in listening to music anymore.. Well actually there still is, no doubt.. But still... The feeling is just not the same anymore. Every mix tape that is made tells a story. Put them together, and they add up to the story of a life. There's always a reason to make one. For parties, for remembering special events, for wooing someone. Heh. As for myself, there's one full of happy moments, one full of lovely memorable moments, one full of heartbroken moments, there's even one full of stupid jackass moments! Meowza!
It's a sad thing people are forgetting about it. Heh. Hmmph.. ANYWAYS.. I'll be spending the rest of my holidays reading it. Should be able to finish it by tomorrow, though. Hehe. Means I should be borrowing more books now. Hahaha.. Well, one thing for sure, books aren't all THAT bad.. But I still prefers cartoons though. Foxtrot still rocks. Hah. Cheerios.
