Bridal Ballad
I am hooked to Edgar Allan Poe's poetries,
like a fingernail to its flesh,
like a flesh to the bone;
like a king on his throne,
who has fetish for his shiny, precious stones..
Haha.. Poetries. Aside from music, they really cool me off. They give me this feeling, something elegant. Like it makes me realize that something that beautiful is actually written by someone human, just like all of us, which totally means that it's never impossible to create something beautiful and mesmerizing as those poetries. And all that is needed is a piece of mind (or should I say a 'peace' of mind) and some deep, creative thinking. Ahaha.. Sinister infant gone poetic.
Anyways, this weekend is going to be a busy one. Abang Taufik is getting married. And the ceremony will be made ultra-grande. The pelamin is made on a stage under a huge sheltered place on an open field in front of their house. The decoration and Mak Andam is by Sri Wana. The event will be hosted by that Chef Celebrity host, Sharin or something. And local artists such as Dalina and some Anugerah Skrin people are expected to be there too, I heard. Well, Abang Taufik is afterall one of the TV people.. Hmm.. Yeah. Rich people.
And so the solemnized akad nikah ceremony will be held today, followed by a dinner. And like any other cousins' wedding, I'll be helping out alongside other cousins. We're relatives, afterall. So yeah. And tomorrow's going to be the big wedding, with some performances for the king and queen for-a-day. Heh. It's like one of the luxurious wedding I've ever attended. Cool. Haha.. Like I said.. Rich people.
Well I just pray hard that everything will go as planned and that the weather will be on our side. You don't want a heavy rain to come uninvited to a delicately huge event, do you? So yeah.. Selamat pengantin baru, you two! Till death do you part. Godspeed. Amin.
